my stay at mongibello in santa eularia des rius was exactly what i needed! the vibrant decor and peaceful atmosphere made it feel like an escape to the italian riviera. the sea view room was bright and lovely, and the pool area was a perfect spot for relaxation with great tunes playing throughout the day.

while the decoration was nice, the cleaning was horrendous, with smeary dusty marks on taps and cups. i was utterly shocked that there was no phone in my room for requesting anything, which seems like a basic service. i almost gave a good review, but the lack of attentiveness ruined it.

The pool area is fine with excellent ambiance. The whirlpool in our suite was a fantastic touch for relaxation.

Unfortunately, the service in the restaurant was often sluggish, especially during peak breakfast hours where you might find yourself waiting too long for items like a fried egg. The entertainment options ranged from lackluster to uninspired, with performances failing to satisfy the expectations one might have for a luxury venue. The pool area was sometimes congested with non-resident visitors. Those hoping for a serene experience might find the noise levels distracting, especially in the evenings.

Recommend it for couples seeking luxury

The staff was wonderful, really felt like I was treated like a king. Had a lovely terrace with a small sofa, perfect for relaxing after a long day by the sea.

It wasn’t exactly cheap but you get what you pay for.

Be sure to enjoy the spacious restaurant. you won't feel rushed. Perfect location for peace while being close to the promenade.
